Scope

With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider collected and used.

The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Collection of general information

With every access to this offer, information is automatically collected by us or the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files (see below), is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Without this data it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimise our offer and technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files in the event of suspicion of illegal use of our services.

Dealing with personal data

Definition: Personal data is defined as any information from which a person can be uniquely identified. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.

These personal data include, for example, first name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address.

This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider if the legislator expressly permits this or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use and passing on of the data.

Registration on our website in the customer area

If you register on our website to take advantage of personalised services, personal data is collected. This includes the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as contact and communication data.

Registration enables access to services and content that are only available to registered users. If required, registered users have the option of changing or deleting the data specified in the registration process at any time. Upon request, we will of course inform you which personal data has been collected and stored. In addition, we will correct or delete the data on request, provided that there are no legal obligations to retain the data. If you have any questions or would like us to correct or delete your data, please use the contact details given in this data protection declaration.

Comment function

If comments or other contributions on our offer are written and published, we store the IP address, the user name and the time of creation. This data is collected for security reasons, because the provider of illegal content (prohibited propaganda, insults, etc.) can be prosecuted, even if they were created by third parties. In such a case, the information is used to determine the identity of the author.

Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data you enter exclusively for this purpose or to inform you of the circumstances relevant to this service or registration. We do not pass this data on to third parties.

A valid (valid) e-mail address is required to receive the newsletter. In addition, the IP address will be stored via which you register for the newsletter and the date on which you order the newsletter. This data serves as proof in the event of misuse, if a third party e-mail address is registered for the newsletter. In order to further ensure that an e-mail address is not misused by third parties in our distribution list, we work in accordance with the law with the so-called “double opt-in” procedure. In the context of this procedure the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of the confirmation mail and the receipt of the registration confirmation are logged.

You have the possibility at any time to revoke your consent to the storage of the data, your e-mail address and their use for the newsletter dispatch. We will provide you with a link in each newsletter and on the website to revoke your consent. You also have the option of informing us of your wish to cancel via the contact options mentioned in this document.

Contact Form

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we store the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry and ask possible follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes contents, services and performances of other providers. These include, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. The transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary so that these data can be called up and displayed in the user’s browser. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) thus perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even though we make every effort to only use third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among others. If we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform our users accordingly.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or if the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

We reserve the right to make changes at any time in order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then take effect the next time you visit our website.
